This is an excellent introduction to oral cancer awareness for the DCP in a clinical role.

Objectives

To provide DCPs with:

  • Oral cancer awareness
  • The need for raising awareness of oral cancer and regular screening
  • The role they play within the dental team in the screening and education of patients

Knowledge of:

  • Signs and symptoms of oral cancer
  • Treatment and consequences of treatments for oral cancer

Course structure

This course provides 3 hours of verifiable CPD. The course will comprise of group and individual work supported by our tutor.
